Welcome to our company site!
Let’s Talk Racial Identity was founded in July 2023 through recognition of a need for bespoke services and training that focused specifically on Racial identity. At Let’s Talk Racial Identity our consultancy work is informed by research and lived experiences. Our services support both the public, private and voluntary sector with the promotion of equitable strategies to amplify the voices of racially minoritised individuals and groups.
A catalyst for the recognition of the change needed was through highlighted findings of our company Director and Founder Naomi Alormele’s doctoral research, which looks at Black women’s experiences working in UK Universities. Within this research there were frequent findings of Black women feeling silenced, under valued and experiencing racial violence in both their workplaces and local communities.
In addition to the provision of consultancy services our company also contributes to community discussions around race and identity. With this in mind we have created the “Let’s Talk..community space”. One aspect of this is our community blogs written by the company associates and wider community. If you wish to contribute to these blogs or collaborate in relation to building the community space please email us by pressing here.

Historically these individuals have had many derogatory terms of reference, including the racial slur “half caste” which is a way…
I recently attended a conference on Challenging racisms in Higher Education and beyond at the University of Westminster. The day was full of so many areas for reflection and powerful messages that I wanted to share with a wider audience. I have documented below some of the conversations that I was drawn to most, including quotes and…
